| Our Doctrinal Beliefs* THE BIBLE The Bible contains God's instructions for living. The Bible brings direction, understanding, and life to those who live by its principles. GOD There is One God. The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being. GOD AS FATHER God as Father created the universe and everything in it according to His purposes. He is all powerful, all knowing, all loving, and all wise. GOD AS JESUS God revealed Himself through His Son Jesus. Jesus really lived. Jesus really died on a cross. Jesus really rose again. Jesus is coming back. Jesus actions and attitudes provide the best example of living a life pleasing to God. Jesus' perfect and permanent sacrifice on the cross makes possible by grace and through faith a relationship with God and eternal life in Heaven. GOD AS HOLY SPIRIT Through His Holy Spirit God lives in and through us now. The Holy Spirit inspired all writings of the Bible. The Holy Spirit leads, comforts, and convicts. THE CHURCH The Church is to love, serve, and teach all people like Jesus loved, served, and taught people. The Church is the Body of Christ which includes redeemed believers from every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation. EVIL God has allowed evil to provide us with a choice, God can bring good even out of evil events, and God promises victory over evil to those who choose them. HEAVEN AND HELL Heaven and hell are real places. Heaven and Hell are eternal. Heaven is greater than anyone could imagine. Hell is worse than anyone could imagine. *The above-mentioned beliefs are the major themes of our Faith.
